Muy Bueno!! I don't come here often because it's either a hit or a miss. It was mostly a hit tonight. We didn't order any alcoholic drinks but wanted to try foods different than what is typical. Outside seating area had music playing too loudly so we went inside. Our vibrant server was Christina and she was awesome. Very attentive and conscientious of our needs. I ordered Oysters Rellenos and they were flipping amazing!! Fresh and super tasty served on a bed of ice. Yum. For entrees my hubby got the Camerones Mineros and it was supposed to come with black beans but it came with normal refried beans instead. Boo. The white rice it came with was terrible and those two things earned a loss of a star. His camerones main dish was fabulous! Perfectly cooked shrimp in a sweet-spicy-buttery sauce. Yummmm. My meal was Costillitas Verde; ribs stewed in a spicy green sauce which was incredible. The Mexican rice and my frijoles churros were great. I was one happy lady!! Try something different next time!!!

Staff is always helpful and quick even with a packed restaurant. It is almost always busy but service rarely dips as a result. The food is always good, they tend to update the menu on a regular basis, love the chips and differnt types of salsa/beans that they bring to every table. Celiac friendly for the most part.

Been coming here for a while now. Good signs - always busy! I've tried a few dishes - the mole is very good, the Chile Colorado is excellent (spicy!), service is attentive but not so much that it's intrusive. Family friendly, and just a nice vibe.

So I got to check out this place. Sat at the bar which had plenty of seating. I was greeted and helped by Andrea and Alejandro in which we great bartenders: always had a smile, always making sure I had a drink , very very happy with their service. Michilada 9.9/10 Skinny Margarita 9.5/10 I started with the camarón tostada and let me say super delicious , love the kick of jalapeño ( and I don't like spicy to much ) and had so much flavor. I then had the steak fajitas and they were good.. kinda of what to expect from fajitas . Overall this place was a winner when it comes to Mexican food ... I for sure will be coming back

Despite its cryptic name (at least to a non-Mexican/non-Spanish speaker), this is a standard sit down/menus/table salsa/waiter type of Mexican restaurant... on the surface level. Upon closer inspection, there are several things that differentiate this establishment from the rest of them. Let me just say, as a die-hard and life-long Los Dos Portrillos customer, I'd consider this place to be in extremely heated competition with them. They do first impressions well. The table salsa is delicious and spicy, in the running for top 3 in the state. They also give you this bowl of cabbage/imitation crab/chipotle mayo that is delicious and you wouldn't find anywhere else. The drink menu is huge, they have a large list of beer, cocktails, flights... whatever you want to drink, they have it here. Their food menu is huge as well, but the unique thing it has is authentic Mexican staples like aguachille, tripa, buche, lengua, barbacoa and a ton more I'm not remembering. In fact, I ordered the barbacoa smothered burrito and it was hands down the best burrito I've had in Colorado. The meat in the barbacoa was so soft, tender, flavorful... it was a real barbacoa. My advice to everyone at Mexican restaurants like this is to always stick with the chicken or beef burritos/chimichangas/enchiladas. But the menu here really pushes the seafood hard on you. So we went outside our normal routine and got aguachille and seafood enchiladas. And compared to other places the seafood was quite good, but not amazing. The aguachille was flavorful but a little mushy, probably should cooked in the lime juice for a few more hours. There is much better aguachille to be found in Denver. The seafood enchiladas reminded me a lot of clam chowder with the white sauce and generic fish taste. Both seafood dishes were good, but would I get them again, probably not. Definitely better seafood than Los Dos though. So, skip the seafood, go for the barbacoa, go for the drinks, you'll be set here. The vibe is also high energy. It's loud in here as they play modern urban music instead of the generic mariachi. The service is also great, very on top of things and always asking to refill the salsa bowl. Looking forward to coming back.

A local favorite with our Denver friends, they were eager to share Real de Mina with us. With good weather, they opened the "garage doors" creating a great indoor/outdoor experience, extending the restaurant into the outdoor patio. They served an interesting cabbage / crab meat dip with the salsa. It was delicious. The restaurant was busy but our waiter did a good job taking care of us. Wanting comfort food, I went with the Enchiladas with ground beef. Far from exotic, the dish was still prepared to perfection. The Spanish Rice was light and fluffy. The beans were warm with just the right amount of cheese. The tortillas for my Enchiladas were soft and flavorful. The ground beef was seasoned to perfection. And all topped with a delicious Enchilada Sauce and cheese. Well done. Overall a wonderful meal.
